SELF DOUBTS AND FEAR OF BEING JUDGED
We are all anxious when we start something which we haven't put our hands on. Even when I started this blog I was worried about the fact that what would people think about my blog. But then I realized the need to overcome my fear. At most, what will happen? People will either give constructive criticism or a bunch of spineless people will give remarks for something that they can't even do.
This life is yours. You are living your life for yourself and not for anyone. Don't let the fear of being judged stop you from being yourself. We are not supposed to be clowns of the world and let them decide what we are capable of. Greatness always lies beyond those fears. In the beginning, nothing really goes perfect but with time you can attain mastery over it.
I would want you to say positive affirmations every day to yourself:
- I am beautiful/handsome and I love myself
- I can achieve anything I want
- I am worthy
- I am proud of myself
- I am grateful for what I have
- I believe I can
Your thoughts become you. If people judge you then don't be afraid of it, take the positives from the other end and improve. However, If they are just letting you down, then ignorance is bliss. There are two reasons why people do that :
1- They don't want you to be great
2- They are jealous of the fact that they can't do it themselves
Be fearless and go on to do anything you like. Those people are just passing cars they won't be with you forever. Even if your parents say that u can't do it, I believe you can. I believe you and your potential to be great.
If you are afraid of being judged by your looks, then you need to understand the fact that everything has beauty but not everyone can see it. You are being you and that's why you are be(you)tiful. You need to believe that you are the best and till the time you don't confess it to yourself, no one is going to believe you.
It's easier said than done, but you need to remove these fears from your mind ( clearing your head ).You need to train your mind to not let those toxic comments affect you. Let me tell you a story about Swami Vivekananda :
He was enjoying nature and suddenly a few people started making fun of him. They did this for a while but all he did was stand there and smile at them. The people went to him to ask why he isn't reacting. He replied, " You are commenting, that is your nature, and I am smiling which is my nature and hence I am not getting affected by your negativity."
What makes you great? it's being you. Remember that.
