JOURNEY OF LIFE AND LOSSES
We all have lost someone in our life who was very dear to us. They might have gone from our vision but they stay in our heart for eternity. Our memories associated with them bring them back to us. Hence, we are never really separated.
life can be compared to train. We all have destinations and checkpoints in our life and so does train. We have stations and changes in our routes during our course of life. At birth, we boarded the train and met our parents and due to our innocence, we always believe that they will be at our side throughout our journey. But at some station, our parents will step down from our train and we become alone. With time, other people come on our train, they might be our friends or even the love of our life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum, and some people will go so unnoticed that we won't even realize that they vacated their seats. This journey will be full of sorrows, joy, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. But what is our responsibility ? it is to build good relationships with every passenger that comes on our train of life.
The mystery is that we do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So we must to live in the best way - Love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seats empty, we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life without us.
People come in life for a reason and they depart when the purpose which they came for has been fulfilled.
Remember, in each loss, there is a gain, as in every gain there is a loss, and with each ending comes a new beginning.
It is important to maintain good relations with everyone around as you never know what can happen the very next moment. Make your mark in this world so that when you go, people will remember you for the great memories you made with them.
It's difficult to learn to live without the people whom you have lost but you need to learn to live with the love they left behind. As they say " As long as there is love and memory there is no true loss". Everyone suffers a loss, there are people who have lost both their parents but have managed to live independently with a smile by accepting the painful truths of life. Death cannot remove your memories and separate people from love since all you love becomes a part of you. One who comes has to go. We all know this subconsciously but we deny this when it happens to our loved ones.
If you can't overcome, then let the emotions flow and channelize it. Expressing it with someone you trust eases out the pain and it's completely ok to cry. At the end of the day, it's the body's mechanism to express, don't hold it. Life always goes on. It doesn't wait for anyone. On your journey, these losses are inevitable and life teaches us to cope with them and to learn to stand on our own feet. Be kind to yourself and acknowledge that nothing lasts forever. Take it as a life lesson and embrace life by thanking for the things you have in present. Sometimes, the best way to handle things is not to handle them but to live with them. Don't lose hope, when the sun goes down, it's certain that the stars will come. Don't blame yourself for all your current circumstances, it's all going to be fine with time. During this course of healing, with self-introspection, you will get a new outlook on life.
Loss is like a scar on our bodies. The more we touch it, the worse it gets. If you leave it, it will undergo the natural process of healing. Petals wilt and then the new one comes but does the plant ever change its growth by seeing its own petals withering away?
